Meet Dr. Zyla-Herrera, D.C., B.C.A.O..
Dr. Nicole Zyla-Herrera, our clinic founder, has been in practice for 16 years. Originally from Michigan, she graduated from Grand Valley State University with a B.S. in Biomedical Science. She then furthered her education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Z practiced in Gilbert, Arizona from 2007-2010 and then relocated to Franklin in 2011. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, watching sporting events, reading, music, yoga and cooking.
Dr. Z started utilizing the Atlas Orthogonal technique after the adjustments decreased her migraines from 2-3x per week to just a few a year! In 2010, she completed her board certification in the Atlas Orthogonal Technique. She loves to teach others about all of the conditions that can be helped with a precise atlas adjustment.
Dr. Z uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Z is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
Dr. Zyla-Herrera is a proud member of the International Chiropractors' Association, Tennessee Chiropractic Association and International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
